Donovan Rypkema, principle of PlaceEconomics and president of Heritage Strategies International, will be offering his insights on economics and historic preservation during Friday's plenary session.  PlaceEconomics specializes in the revitalization of downtown and neighborhood commercial districts and the reuse of historic structures.

Rypkema holds a Masters degree in Historic Preservation from Columbia University. He is on the Board of Global Urban Development and teaches historic preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. For more information about Rypkema, visit:
