The AHC Archaeological Program provides advice and archaeological services for the general public and Historic Sites Division of the AHC.  As time and resources allow, AHC archaeologists also provide emergency survey and excavation of endangered archaeological sites.  Presenting Alabama's fascinating past to the public is an important part of the AHC's Archaeological Program. They answer questions, hold workshops, and make presentations on both prehistoric and historic archaeology topics across the State.
